Emily Ehrenfeld has been involved in the start up and executive management of technology companies for over 20 years. She has served as CEO since 2016 and was a co-founder of the company in 1997 with Gary Valaskovic. She is co-author on a book focused on micro sampling with Mike Lee, Neil Spooner and Joe Siple, and the co-inventor of two patents in microfluidics with Gary Valaskovic. In 2013, along with Mike Lee, Gary Valaskovic and Robert Kennedy she started Mozaic Solutions, a microfluidics company focusing on segmented flow for life science. She is the Chair of the Board for Halocarbon Products Corporation, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of fluorine-based specialty chemicals including APIs and finished pharmaceuticals. She holds a B.A. degree in Chemistry and a M.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, both from Cornell University.
