Title: “Proteoform-Reaction-Monitoring (PfRM) and the Discovery of Biomarker Candidates in Liver Transplant Recipients”

Dr. Che-Fan (Jeffrey) Huang

Dr. Che-Fan (Jeffrey) Huang is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Texas A&M University. His research develops top-down proteomics and mass spectrometry approaches to define proteoforms as functional molecular units, with applications in biomarker discovery and the study of human disease and cellular signaling. He earned his Ph.D. at Northwestern University, where he combined surface engineering and MALDI mass spectrometry to investigate phosphatase biology, and completed postdoctoral training in top-down proteomics at Northwestern’s Proteomics Center of Excellence. Originally from Taiwan, Dr. Huang received his B.S. and M.S. from National Taiwan University, where his interest in proteomics began.
