As the global market leader in innovative solutions for nanoflow and microflow LC-MS, New Objective continues to set the standard with its FlowChip solution as a novel standard for Everyday use and together with the Universal Flow Station, a ubiquitous solution for low-flow LC-MS analysis. Wednesday’s event celebrated the FlowChip, a molecular microscope and the standard solution for Top-Down Proteomics at Northwestern University and the seed of bringing to market solutions for answering key biological questions through the analysis of intact proteins via LC-MS as pioneered by New Objective co-founder Gary Valaskovic during his tenure at Cornell University with Fred McLafferty and published in Science.

Joe Siple, Director of Corporate Relations, New Objective, shared great wisdom with the New Objective family garnered from his many years working in the pharmaceutical and life science industries on the value of relationships. Joe, who was introduced to New Objective at a time in his career when he was looking to be a part of something that made a difference, anchored the Town Hall event and shared his story. It was a moving, inspirational and personalized perspective of how through his relationship with Mike and his introduction to the CPSA community which Mike established, developed and leads, Joe, as an avid gardener was inspired to plant seeds – seeds of wisdom nourished relationships which will grow with the nurturing of daily care – engagement, guidance and a shared resolve to lead with purpose. As Joe commented at the conclusion of the Town Hall – he was able to witness the growth of a seed he planted together with others and experience its shade – a joy and gift captured in the Greek proverb which Joe shared in closing his Town Hall. “A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.”
