New Objective Webinar Series: Robert Salzler, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals

May 2nd, 2023 – Littleton MA (USA) Thanks and congratulations to all of those who actively participated in the New Objective Webinar Series on Wednesday February 15th, 2023, Proteogenomic identification of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) genotype-specific HLA-I restricted peptides from HBV-positive patient liver tissues featuring Mayank Srivastava and Robert Salzler of Regeneron.

Robert clearly stated the increasing importance of mass spectrometry for their clinical applications and the need for a robust, reliable and reproducible analytical platform to support large sets of patient samples. Robert’s team at Regeneron standardized their immunopeptidomic assays on the heated PicoChip® column – a solution which was built on the state-of-the-art SilicaTip™ and PicoFrit® technology engineered into an easy-to-use, robust and reproducible analytical tool for clinical studies.

“We are sharing one project – but we have hundreds of projects.” Robert Salzler, Regeneron

As highlighted by Emily Ehrenfeld, we now have a tool for reproducible and rugged analysis for quantitative studies that can be measured injection-to-injection, chip-to-chip, lab-to-lab and study-to-study. We are at a pivotal point when we can harness the advantages of nanospray through the easy-to-use format of PicoChip to bring this technology to the clinical settings where it can truly benefit the patients.”
